Gastric Cancer in a Sibling

Abstract
Clinical observation on the two cases of stomach cancer occured in a sibling is summerized in this report.
Case I. Sixtysix years old man who complained epigastric fullness and belching was admitted. Roentgenological examination repealed a large ulceration and irregular filling defect in the lesser curvature extending to cardia and pylorus. Three months later, he was expired during the medical treatment with Mitomycin C.
Case II. Sixty years old male who complained severe epigastric pain and frequent bowel movement was admitted and he was found to be a brother of case I patient. Roentgenological examination of stomach revealed, large filling defect in the greator curvature. Subtotal gastrectomy with Brown anastomosis was done, and the biopsy confirmed the diagnosis, gastric and duodenal adenocarcinoma. Nine months after the operation, the patient died.
